This episode was meh to me. I don't really know what else to say. It just didn't leave an impression. I'm getting a bit sick of all the Glee-like singing and dancing. It's not funny or interesting to me.

I was asleep and missed the episode.

I didn't think it looked that good from the previews.

The episode was okay. Big plus for Zach, who is a really good entertainer.
But I felt sorry for him, that the girl he loved, didn`t love him back.

I actually thought the Sydney subplot was better, even though I found the waiter to be really annoying though (would've preferred the vet as her love interest). But the idea she seems like a snob who wouldn't date beneath her could surface later with her and Andrew... who knows.

Zach was just annoying here -- making the Bar Mitzvah all about himself. I actually thought as far as giving depth goes to him, the Outbreak episode was better, despite him not having the main story. (Where he got sick and it was revealed he was a needy momma's boy who pampered him too much when he was young.) I might be biased though, cause when it comes to B stories, I think of the two guys its more interesting when its focused on Andrew -- but that's just me.

I really liked him in that one too, and thought his backstory there was less contrived & made more sense than the one in this particular episode.

The womanizer is a womanizer cause his heart got broken? C'mon. The whole trope is cliche and doesn't ring true to me and seemed to be a cheap way of creating depth that did not work for me. Suddenly he's this weepy guy out of nowhere? After being a guy who covered his feelings by claiming to not know girls names suddenly making a fool of himself? Now had he danced and sang maybe to impress her, or maybe tried to cover his feelings by acting blase about the whole thing, then I would've believed it more. I just didn't find it consistent of his past behavior.

To me, him being a spoiled Momma's boy rang more true to his behavior. He is arrogant because he was pampered and showed he was needy in others approval, which explains better his comic nature, all the singing and what not. It just made better sense.

I just hope Lauren and Andrew's backstories aren't as contrived as this episode.

Hmm I never thought of it like that. I do admit I had thought he had been hurt before by a woman before this episode. I didn't see this one. I can't really say how he acted.

This is the first episode I missed but from what I heard I don't feel I need to see it much.

I can't wait to see Andrew's back story.
